I currently have a PhD position available working on the effects of mass extinctions. It's funded for 3.5 years and starting in October 2024.
Application for this project has to be done through the university course application website that requires you to fill in all information and choose the "postgraduate research courses" details in there probably don't matter that much as long as my name is in there somewhere. You can follow this example here. Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any question.
I don't support self funded positions (i.e. not funded through grants or scholarships). However, I'm very keen to help you applying for funding if you're interested. Just send me an email!
At the University of Sheffield
I currently have no postdocs or PhD students. I do work closely with other groups in the department though, namely Gavin Thomas' group and Chris Cooney's group.
Everywhere else
I work closely withv Natalie Coopers' group at the Natural History Museum in London.
